Simple Pleasures Bring Great Treasures

Today was Ward Conference and someone spoke about the simple pleasures in life and how they bring great treasures. This got me thinking about the treasures I have and one of them is my little man, Kendrick. The other night I was getting him into bed and he said, "Mom, I know where beards come from" and so of course I had to ask where. He replied, "from hunting". I just had to laugh because if you know Trav and what he looks like after he goes hunting this is exactly where Daddy gets his beard. I have many pleasures that turn into great treasures and this moment was one of them.

When the sun shines my boys will play

This Thursday was nice and sunny which means Trav didn't have to work so the boys were able to stay home and play with dad. Today when Cohen was napping Kendrick and Travis went in the backyard to make a snow fort and two snowmen. Here is the cute picture of the giant snowmen.
