Kendrick is not a little boy anymore
Our computer is having major fits right now so I can't get Kendrick's birthday pictures posted. Kendrick had his 5th birthday on Sunday, September 7th. He decided to have a beach party so we got the blow up slide out and put the sprinkler under the trampoline. We also had bubbles, sidewalk chalk, beach balls and a pinata to keep 12 of his friends entertained. I attempted to make a bunch of mini beach ball cakes for his family party. Decorating cakes is something I enjoy doing, but still need a lot of practice to make them look as good as what I want. Kendrick has been a little bummed that he could not go to Kindergarten this year because he only misses the deadline by seven days. I told him he needs to turn five, learn how to spell his name, recite his phone number and address and tie his shoes before I will let him go. I thought that these tasks would keep him busy at least until Kindergarten is closer. In just one week Kendrick turned five, learned to spell his name and recite his phone number. Maybe... I'll tell him he needs to read too. It's hard to believe it's been five years since Kendrick blessed our lives. He continues to bring joy and blessings to us each day and we love him so much. Happy Birthday big boy!
