Shelley High School's Class of 98' Reunion

Okay... I know this is long over due, but I had to post Trav's pics of his 10 year Shelley, ID High School reunion. I was amazed at how small his school is and to only have maybe 220 students graduate in 1998 was just crazy to me. We were able to tour the high school, go to the park for a picnic and then go to dinner at the Schilling House in Blackfoot. It's a good thing these reunions don't come around very often :)

Big Boy!

I am on vacation from work for the holidays and I am using every bit of time to my advantage. My biggest priority is to get Cohen potty trained before he goes back to day care. Forget about candy or stickers as incentive to go potty! Cohen wants a bath every time he goes potty. We have a very CLEAN boy!! Day 1 was Friday, he had 3 accidents and 0 moments of success on the potty. Day 2 he became a our BIG BOY!! Only one accident and a moment of success on the potty. The later part of day 2 and 3 we had to put a diaper on him to go get family pictures done and also for church. I have a week left and I think Cohen is content with the whole potty thing.

Merry Christmas 2008

We enjoyed a very windy and snowy Christmas this year at home. Christmas Eve was spent with my family at aunt Cathy's house and Kendrick was very excited to get home and go to bed early so Santa could come. My brother Alan and his wife Chauna spent the night as they have been doing for a few years now.

Our kids are really blessed to have so many people that love them and that think about them for Christmas. It's important for my kids to understand the true meaning of Christmas and that it is not all about receiving gifts. Cohen is still to young for this but every year Kendrick cleans out his toy box and decides what he does not play with anymore that he can give away to make room for the new toys Santa is bringing. We then find a shelter or someone who can benefit from Kendrick's good choices. I love spending time with Kendrick deciding what to give away. He makes the decision all on his own on what to keep and give away and I am impressed with what a big heart my little man has.

We hope everyone enjoys their holidays as much as we are. We miss our family that live out of state and can't wait to see some of you soon for a day on the slopes. Travis is excited to give his new skis a test run :)

Who needs to be a kid to have fun?

It has been a few months since the Chuck E Cheese opened in Layton so we thought the crowds would have died down. What were we thinking? This was complete chaos, but oh so fun!! I think the kids had almost as much fun as their aunt "Nauna". Between the kids and adults we managed to accumulate 1400+ tickets for Kendrick and Cohen to exchange for prizes.
